Catch-All
A catch-all journal serves as a “working memory” that you keep on you at all
times, which you reflect on throughout the day. Everything I need to remember
throughout the day I keep in that book.
Zibaldone
A Zibaldone is what many people think a commonplace book, but it isn’t. These
books are uncategorized information, and you keep all your different
ideas/thoughts in this book without categorizing this information.
Commonplace
A commonplace book is used to catalogue information as you learn it, with
“common places” (or headings) that you’ll use to identify different
notes/information. Commonplace books can either be generalized, or specific to a
certain type of information (such as Artificial Intelligence).
