Aeropress
- Coffee: 25g, ground to slightly finer than a medium
- Water: 225mL at 205°F
- Set up AeroPress for an immersion style brew
- Add ground coffee and tap sides of AeroPress to level
- Bloom for 20 seconds using 40g of water
- Pour the remaining water into the AeroPress, up to 225g mark
- Let brew for 3:30
- Flip and press, aiming for 20-30 second extraction time
Fellow Stagg XF
- Coffee: 20g, ground to 30 clicks (slightly finer than medium)
- Water: 340mL, around 205°F
- Rinse the paper filter to remove impurities and to warm pour over
- Add ground coffee and tap sides of Stagg to level grounds
- Pour 40g of water for blooming, while starting a time
- Wait 40-45 seconds, then begin pouring water in a controlled circle aiming for 340mL of total water at about 1:45
- Allow coffee to drip into cup fully
- Serve
